(From last week)
We got transfers!
I'm staying here in Kielce. It was sad to see Elder Mulder leave. We had been through a lot. He had been here for over ten months and the branch was really attached to him as well. So on Sunday we had a farewell party for him and sent him off with a bunch of cakes! Haha it was also his birthday so yeah, thats more of the reason behind that.
I am also recieving a new compaion fresh out of the MTC, so I've got some interesting feelings about that. I'm excited and think it'll be way fun, but then again, I feel a little inadequate because I am still yet a toddler in this language. But we'll see....it will be interesting. Plus we will be doubling the amount of missionaries in Kielce! With Sisters. Never worked around Sisters before. But we got a lot of work to do and it should be fun.
Well we had apparently slipped into the comfort zone here in gool ole' litlle Kielce, and were in the need of a wake-up call. Everything was going perfect with Jaroslaw until he came into our meeting on monday totally flustered and frustrated. He said things were tiring and that living the commandments were too hard along with the fact that his family wasn't too supportive. Sooo, he said he needed a break and pretty much dropped us. We think he got in to some Anti-Mormon misinformation. So that was a bummer because he was making so much progress, changing his life for the better, becoming more happy and planning to get baptized on Saturday. So we were pretty bummed about that for a while, but then as we shook out of it and jumped right back into the real world, seeing how much other blessings and investigotrs we have he privelege of working with and teaching, the sadness subsided and we were able to learn a lot, apply those lessons, and invest our time in helping and serving others who are willing and ready.

Sometimes as learners we spend so much time, effort and energy of our lives learning something that we have felt is good and true. The witness of so many experiences of applied truths and confirmed feelings of satisfaction, contentment and understanding solidify for us this testimony, that after all this we think to ourselves" this must be a "good fruit". Yet for some reason, even after all this, one strike or provision of lies or confusion from the adversary can reverse the path of success and goodness into one of doubt, resignation and failure. This comes to my mind as I think of what we must do to maintain our happiness and success, "remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." (Hel. 5:12) hmm, ok pretty straight-forward.... Let us simplify it just once more.....
"Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do." (2Nephi32:3)
"Wherefore, I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do." (2Nephi32:3)
When learning, we must go to the source and learn from the source, because ,of course, it contains the truth in fulness. The Book of Mormon contains the words of Christ in purity. Reading, pondering, praying about and applying the teachings of this book into your lives is the GREATEST investment you could make in this life. I Testify. And Deeply exhort you all to try it. If you don't believe me...try it...Your lives and families will be blessed beyond that you can imagine. You love them right?... Then Invest.
